1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to DUNE QUEST TOURS L.L.C (“Dune Quest”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings and participation in tours, safaris, activities, and related services (“Services”) offered by Dune Quest Tours L.L.C, a licensed tourism operator registered under the laws of the United Arab Emirates, with its principal office located in Dubai, UAE.
By booking or participating in any of our tours, you (“Client”, “Customer”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our Services.
2. BOOKING AND PAYMENT POLICY
2.1 Booking Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability.
A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or a deposit amount as specified in your booking confirmation.
Upon confirmation, a booking voucher or email confirmation will be issued to the client.
2.2 Payment Methods
We accept payments via:
Credit/Debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
Bank transfer
Cash (AED) payments made in person
Approved online payment gateways on our official website and third party platforms
2.3 Pricing
All prices are quoted in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) unless otherwise stated.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice; however, confirmed bookings will not be affected by subsequent price adjustments.
3. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
3.1 Client Cancellations
48 hours or more before tour date: Full refund or free rescheduling (subject to availability).
24–48 hours before tour date: 50% cancellation fee.
Less than 24 hours / No-show: 100% cancellation fee, no refund.
Refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days to the original payment method.
3.2 Operator Cancellations
Dune Quest reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any tour due to:
Unfavorable weather conditions
Safety concerns
Insufficient number of participants
Force majeure events (see Section 12)
In such cases, clients may choose between a full refund or rescheduling.
4. CHILD POLICY
Infants (under 3 years): Free of charge (no separate seat in vehicle).
Children (3–10 years): Child rate applies.
Children above 10 years: Charged at adult rate.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
5. SAFETY AND PARTICIPATION
5.1 Health and Fitness
Clients must ensure they are physically fit to participate in adventure activities (e.g., dune bashing, quad biking, camel rides).
Pregnant women, people with heart conditions, neck/back problems, or other serious medical conditions are advised not to participate in such activities.
5.2 Responsibility During the Tour
Participants must follow all safety instructions given by Dune Quest staff.
Dune Quest reserves the right to refuse service to any individual who appears to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or poses a safety risk to themselves or others.
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings. Dune Quest is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
6. TRANSPORTATION POLICY
Shared or private vehicle options are available depending on the package selected.
Vehicle allocation is made at Dune Quest’s discretion.
Seat belts and helmets must be worn at all times when using machinery.
Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited inside the vehicles.
7. INSURANCE
Dune Quest maintains comprehensive public liability insurance as per UAE law.
However, clients are advised to obtain personal travel insurance covering medical, cancellation, and personal accident risks before participating in our tours.
8. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
All activities involve inherent risks. By participating, the client voluntarily assumes all such risks.
Dune Quest Tours L.L.C, its employees, agents, or affiliates shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or expense arising out of or in connection with participation in any of our services, unless caused by proven negligence.
We shall not be responsible for acts or omissions of third-party suppliers (e.g., hotels, airlines, transport companies, or activity operators).
9. MODIFICATIONS AND ITINERARIES
Tour itineraries may be subject to change due to weather, government regulations, or unforeseen circumstances. Dune Quest will make reasonable efforts to provide equivalent alternatives where possible.
10. CONDUCT AND BEHAVIOR
Clients are expected to respect local customs, laws, and traditions of the United Arab Emirates.
Any misconduct, unlawful behavior, or disrespect toward staff, other guests, or local communities may result in removal from the tour without refund.
11. PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA
Dune Quest may take photographs or videos during tours for promotional purposes. By participating, you grant Dune Quest permission to use such media for marketing and publicity unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing prior to the tour.
12. FORCE MAJEURE
Dune Quest shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, weather conditions, fire, strikes, government actions, or public health emergencies.
13. PRIVACY POLICY
Your personal information will be handled in accordance with UAE data protection laws. Dune Quest collects and uses personal data solely for booking, operational, and safety purposes. We do not share your information with third parties except as required by law or to fulfill the booked service.
14. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
